Do you support association and mufti office procedures on mosque projects?

Yes. We work alongside the association’s board on preparing the project file, technical reports and approvals.

Is the ornamentation handcrafted or printed?

Depending on scale and budget, handwork, hand-painted ornament and digital printing can be combined; we recommend handwork for focal points such as the mihrab and the centre of the dome.

How long does implementation take?

Renovating the interior of a medium-sized mosque takes 3–6 months. Ramadan and Eid periods are taken into account in the schedule.

Mosque Interior Design — Şanlıurfa

What does mosque interior design include?

It includes the design of liturgical elements such as the mihrab, minbar, kürsü and mahfil; dome and ceiling ornament, the arrangement of calligraphy and decoration, chandelier and lighting design, carpet and acoustics. Everything is made to measure and installed on site.

Classical motifs are simplified to suit the scale and light of the space, keeping the balance between richness of ornament and a sense of serenity.

Why are acoustics and lighting decisive?

Acoustic design ensures the congregation hears the sermon and recitation clearly from every spot; reverberation time is controlled through material choice and surface texture. Lighting supports daylight by day and provides a warm, even level at night that doesn’t disturb worship.

Can an existing mosque be renovated?

Yes. Interior surfaces, ornament, the mihrab and minbar, carpet and lighting can be renewed without touching the existing structure. Our in-house civil engineer and technical team design the necessary structural and electrical infrastructure; the work is scheduled around the prayer calendar.
