Mansion Living Room with Stone Arches
The vaulted hall of a historic stone mansion: dressed stone arches lit with concealed LEDs, and a smoked velvet seating group, a walnut bookcase with brass details and a hand-woven rug turned it into a contemporary living space.
The dressed stone vault and pointed arches were preserved and cleaned; LED strips concealed at the springing of the arches bring out the stone texture in the evening. Smoked velvet sofas, armchairs on brass legs, a walnut bookcase and a walnut coffee table, with a hand-woven rug on a dark marble floor, create a warm seating area. In the background, arched niches and a wrought iron door with brass latticework lead to the dining area.
